NRG Trails: Taking you on an adventure
Inspired by the natural wonders of the world, NRG takes children on a journey across wild terrain.
The playground becomes a mountain range or a gigantic gorge. Those who dare to traverse the treacherous trails will challenge their imagination as well as their physical and mental strength.
The NRG Trail system promotes exercise while encouraging children to use their imaginations and enter a world of adventure.
Whether they are avoiding an alligator infested swampland or swinging across a deep ravine, children are sure to have an experience packed with adventure and risk taking as they make their way across the playground.
Kids will need all of their physical strength to cling on to rope swings or monkey bars and an impecable balance to make it across bridges and stepping stones.
A keen eye and forward planning will be needed to plot a route over, under and through the obstacles along every trail. NRG will seamlessly manoeuvre challengers on a journey through the wonders of the world.

What is a Trail Play System?
Suitable for all ages
An age range of 5-12 is provided for EN Standards and Safety Precautions.
The NRG Range is perfect for children and adults to play and have fun together.
Trail play involves a system of connected obstacles. The challenge is to get from one end of the trail to another without touching the floor. A trail can include components such as stepping stones, rope bridges monkey bars and rope swings.
The NRG Trail system lets you choose a pre-designed trail combination to suit your budget or to design your own trail by connecting a set of obstacles in any configuration to fit your space.
Our trails promote health and well-being. As children embark on epic adventures across formidable obstacles, they will twist, turn, swing and climb between ropes and platforms, contributing to their recommended 60 minutes of vigorous intensity physical activity per day.
The linear nature of Trail play helps to avoid congestion and congregation on the playground, ideal for the current moment.

NRG Trail Case Study: Maes Yr Haul Primary School, Cardiff
Maes Yr Haul Primary School wanted to create a low maintenance, durable playground for the older pupils which would last the next twenty to thirty years.
HAGS designers created a bespoke configuration with items from our impressive NRG range.
The school were especially taken with the distinctive steel curved arches and sturdy support posts. The NRG Range met the schools needs perfectly, providing an outdoor space to stimulate interactive play and healthy exercise for older children.
The play area includes NRG Gaping Gyll, NRG Angel Cascade, NRG Jacobs Ladder and NRG Amazon Basin.
The playground has really engaged the older pupils, the children absolutely love it!” Susan adds “The playground is very busy, we have even had to allocate time slots to each year group.
