Inclusive and accessible playground earns Gold Accreditation at PIPA
A fully inclusive and fully accessible playground designed for people of all ages and abilities. The goal of this project was to create an inclusive and accessible play space that enabled all families, regardless of their abilities, to come and play together in one location.
We are really pleased that this park has been awarded a gold accreditation from PIPA, the highest accreditation for designing an inclusive and accessible play space.
“The quality of equipment that has been put in by HAGS is brilliant. It's superior to what we have ever had before. It says it all when you have a 4-year-old and a 7-year-old who don’t want to go home because the playground is so good. You can’t do better than that!”
“Able-bodied children won’t find much difference, but it is the wheelchair users and children with mobility issues who are really going to enjoy the park.”
“It benefits children with additional needs because they can be a part of play and not sit on the sidelines anymore.”
“The play space is huge, cool, and there’s a large climbing frame! There are a lot of obstacles, and it’s fun to play on.”
