Monastery inspired playground in Šala, Slovakia
The city of Šala in Slovakia installed a beautiful children's playground inspired by the city's historic Monastery complex Majk, a monks' hermitage from the Kamaldulov order dating back to 1733. This unique and custom project was divided into two parts, each reflecting elements of the monastery.
The first part features an impressive 8-meter high tower with a tube slide, representing the Church tower. The second part showcases a striking large UniPlay U-shaped tower, packed with various game functions, embodying the architectural essence of the monastery.
The playground also includes smaller solo play elements such as trampolines and a playhouse, surrounded by comfortable seating areas for rest and reflection. This thoughtful design ensures that both children and adults can enjoy the space, offering a blend of play and relaxation.
We take pride in knowing that our dedication to this project will bring joy to the local community for many years to come, fostering smiles and creating lasting memories.
