Helsingborg, Sweden
Playful path
Imagine a path that not only takes you from point A to point B but also makes you happier, inspires you, and gets you moving. This 800-meter-long “Play Trail” in Helsingborg, Sweden, offers everything from obstacle courses and mirrors to jump challenges, seating areas, and more!
Project goals
The city aimed to connect different areas and neighborhoods in a way that incorporated playfulness and movement into daily life, suitable for all ages.
Installation details
Our installations include an inclusive obstacle course, several Chili barbecue grills, a Sofiero seating area, and Sagitta bike racks in special colors. This creative path transforms what would have been a mundane walk into an engaging and playful experience.
Accessibility focus
Pelle, shown in picture 2, from the sports organization Alla kan idrottsförening in Ängelholm, Sweden, tested the accessible obstacle course on opening day. He also provided wheelchairs for anyone wanting to give it a try. The organization aims to combat exclusion in sports for individuals with disabilities.
This innovative project is a fantastic way to encourage play and movement, making everyday life more enjoyable and active for everyone.
