Accessibility course
The Convention on the Rights of the Child, which became law on January 1, 2020, states that all children have the right to play. How do we create accessible play environments that are creative, inspiring and stimulating at the same time? How do you adapt playgrounds to different types of disabilities? What to do with the play environments that already exist? Is it possible to improve their accessibility?
Helen Bergander works with accessibility issues at HAGS and will talk about accessibility for children with various disabilities. In addition, we look at how to make already existing playgrounds as good as possible - for everyone!
The course is aimed at those who want to learn more about accessibility in playgrounds. No prior knowledge is required. The course is held online via Teams and a link is sent out two days before via email. You do not need to have Teams installed on your computer to participate, but a good connection is required.
